Do you remember what life was like before Post It Notes? Those little sticky notes are now available in every shape, size and color for both business and personal use. Post It Notes were invented as a solution without a problem. Dr. Spencer Silver, a retired chemist at 3M, stumbled upon a new type of repositionable adhesive in 1968. It was 9 years before 3M first launched the product as "Press 'n Peel", but the sticky little things didn't catch on until April 1980, after having distributed free samples to consumers, 3M relaunched what the world now knows as Post It Notes.
