Batiss veut visiter le plus possible de ports autour du monde puis retrouver, un jour,Zabelle, dans une cache de Boulogne-sur-Mer. Il souhaite aussi être pris en photo devant tous ces beaux paysages.
Batiss wants to visit as much as possible ports around the world and find one day Zabelle in a cache of Boulogne-sur-Mer. He also wants to be photographed in front of all these beautiful landscapes.
Batiss et Zabelle sont des géants de processions et de cortèges symbolisant la localité de Boulogne-sur-Mer, 1er port de pêche de France.
Zabelle porte le « soleil », une coiffe circulaire en dentelle blanche qui lui entoure la tête un peu comme une auréole. Ses épaules sont couvertes d'un châle blanc à franges.
Elle est accompagnée de son « mari », Batiss, le marin boulonnais.
Batiss and Zabelle are giants for processions and parades, symbolizing the town of Boulogne-sur-Mer, the first fishing port in France.
Zabelle wears the "sun", circular cap white lace around her head like a halo. Her shoulders are covered with a white shawl with fringes.
She is accompanied by her "husband", Batiss, the Boulogne sailor.
