THE INITIAL ENTRY
An Amazing story...
On 1 June 2006 I made application for a Green Jeep TB. On 6 June 2006 my personal motor vehicle was broken into and my wallet stolen. Not unusual except that I am a foreign national living in the USA. Inside my wallet was my credit cards which said thieves in San Diego, Corona and Los Angeles.
My brother in law just happens to be a Detective with the Identity Theft Squad when he notices my name. The bank manager contacts me to report more activity, but to a different mailing address. They had rerouted my mail. I'm ex-police so together we're able to mount a brief of evidence with appropriate statements.
In October police searched premises in Los Angeles and amongst other artifacts, discovered my mail, including this Jeep. After printing and photographs my property was returned.
Now...how is it then that if the Jeep was mailed directly to me in June to start it's life, my mail stolen, is that a geocacher in Los Angeles (whom incidently I have logged one of their caches) is about to "discover" it in September?
