Today was my first time geocaching. My name is Max. I am seven years old. I will turn 8 in January and I start second grade this week!

My dad learned about geocaching from a friend at work. Today we went out and found two geocaches at Spitler Woods State Park in Mount Zion, IL. There were four geocaches that we looked for in the park. We only found two of them. The other two were either gone, or we just couldn't find them.

At Hawkeye's Perch, our second find, we found this really cool green Jeep Travel Bug today. We brought it home and logged it in later tonight. I am very excited to read the story about this Jeep, and the places it has been over the past few years.

I will take this jeep out with me, the next time we go geocaching. I will put it in a geocache for another person to find. I can't wait to read the stories about this Travel Bug Jeep when other boys and girls find it!
