Alas, The Watertower Cache (GCP0Z1), where this traveler was placed last, has now been archived. What follows is the note left on the cache page the day after the traveler stopped in:
This is one cache I will never forget. Me and daughter arrived at GZ to see crime scene tape on rock wall blocking me to cache. I figured it was to keep you off the rocks and prevent you to go further up. I searched anyways and came to exact location gps said and there was an obvious hole that was created but continued search. Two firemen came along so I descended down as they were giving me an evil eye. They were on duty the night before when I a suspicious package call came in but they weren't allowed down so they wanted to see area for themselves. I asked if it was a coffee container and they said yes. I then explained what geocaching was to them as they never heard of it. They said three men were seen hiding a container in rocks so detectives searched uncovering coffee container, State police bomb squad was called in and their robot to x-ray the container and to retrieve. The neighborhood was evacuated for 3 hours while this went on. I was asked to talk to Winthrop police as no one new what it was as of today. FBI is involved as of now because because they thought the log book had a code for tracking the airplane wing numbers that fly overhead. Winthrop police detectives are now new Geocachers!!! They had to sign up because they wanted to know how many more caches are in Winthrop and where. I talked to state police detective and filled him in but cache is in the crime lab and most likely be there for some time. What a day!
