I joined geocaching.com in June 2013, and had 4 finds that month....and didn't pick it back up until the 31 days of caching in August. It took another month or two, but the addiction took hold....and there was no looking back. I got my 1000th find on September 15, 2014 at GC4MN7B after a day that started with me at 982 finds. My brother, profbrad, got me into this crazy game, and so it's fitting that he gifted me this geo-achievement coin. In just over a year, I've been to MOGA (best event ever), GeoWoodstock XII, several local events, and cached in multiple states. At the time of this coin's release in Sept 2014, I've found 11 types in one day, 61 caches in one day, met many other awesome Cachers, and had A LOT of fun along the way. Here's to the next 1000!
