Is it PHAthomable?

Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension is an incurable disease affecting the heart and lungs. Internal pressure in the lungs prevents oxygen entering the blood supply and those suffering with PAH find it hard to breathe. Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension affects children and adults alike and is an extremely rare condition, with less than 300 patients across the UK. Patients often find that they could not do the things they used to do - household chores, shopping, exercise, meeting with friends. Patients often feel so tired, however, getting a good nights' sleep is often a challenge.

There are a variety of treatments and medications to relieve the symptoms, and the life expectancy has increased over recent years, due to vast improvements in research and treatment. However, there is no cure for this life-restricting disease. There are several types of Pulmonary Hpertension. For some people, there is a known reason why they have PAH. For others, there is no known reason why they have it (also known as Ideopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertention - IPAH).

A very close family member suffers from this horrible condition, there is no known reason why she has  and I would like to use this trackable is to help raise awareness of this horrible disease, to firther aid the support and understanding of the condition. This is also my first trackable, so I hope it travels far and wide around the UK and the world.
