Jamie's Adventure

On 20.10.2017 we had to say farewell to my best friend Pipa. At the age of 11 years and 5 months old she got paralysed and could no longer walk. She did have a last holiday at the lake, loving the water so much, had her last steak, her last favorite piece of cake and then the vet put her to sleep, at home among those who loved her most. As most of her traveling days were spent in Portugal I guess we can conclude that it might be true that the first chocolate Labrador Retriever was from Portugal and not Canada. As for me, I continue my journey to Canada and who knows, maybe one day me and Pipa, we'll meet again.

Hi,

My name is Jamie. I’m a young handsome 3 year old Golden Labrador Retriever. I live close to a natural park in Belgium where Rudolf (my teddy bear) and I take our daily walk. And yes, I do take him with me all the way :-)

The other day, I got challenged by my friend Pipa, a 9 year old Chocolate Lab, to travel to the province NEWFOUNDLAND LABRADOR in CANADA, the country of the origin of the Labrador Retriever. Who can say 'no' to an old lady, right? So the bet is on! But I did assure her that a young fertile guy like me, will get there first for sure!

On my way there it would be fun to meet other golden Labrador dogs with their teddy bear. So please post a photo of all 4 legged friends I meet !

Ik ben Jamie, een blonde Labrador Retriever van 3 jaar oud. Ik woon dicht bij een natuurgebied en dagelijks trek ik met Rudolf (mijn teddybeer) erop uit. En ja, je hebt het goed gelezen, ik neem hem héél de weg mee :-)

Onlangs kreeg ik van mijn vriendin Pipa, een 9 jaar oude chocolade Lab, de vraag om een weddenschap aan te gaan om als eerste naar de provincie NEWFOUNDLAND LABRADOR in CANADA te reizen. Het land van onze afkomst. Ik wil haar dat plezier wel doen, ik kan toch geen neen zeggen tegen zo'n oud vrouwtje, maar ik weet ook zo wel dat een jonge, fitte gast als ik er met gemak eerst zal geraken!

Onderweg zou het leuk zijn om foto’s te zien van andere geocachende Labrador Retrievers over de hele wereld.
