    Green Jeep Travel Bug "Fish Lake Mountain (WY)" in Oslo, Norway. The photo is showing the TB viewing the RA II raft at the Kon-tiki museum.

    This 45 foot long copy of an ancient Egyptian papyrus vessel sailed in 1970 from Marokko and ended successfully in Barbados 57 days later; covering the 4,000 miles. In this way the Norwegian adventurer Thor Heyerdal showed that seamen in pre-Columbian time was able to travel from the Old World to Central America.

    I’ve been eager to find and log a Jeep-TB for quite a while. Not because of the prizes of cause – as this Sweepstake is for US citizens only – but because of the geocaching fun. Now time is up for a find. It may be considered a Christmas gift as I found it in a “XMAS 2006”-cache on my way to a Christmas-geocaching-event.
