This geocoin has no goal other than to be discovered by those who seek it.
Whenever I have been fortunate enough to receive a Top Cache coin from Amberel, instead of letting it gather dust at home it has become a custom for me to make it resident within or near to the cache itself. That way, (a) I can remember where the coin is, (b) if finders are interested they can discover the coin for themselves, and (c) it just seems more appropriate to keep the coin with the cache it celebrates.
Well, Amberel was kind enough to send me a coin for my one and only virtual cache, Virgo Virginum. This resulted in a slight dilemma for me: being a virtual cache, there is nowhere to hide the coin!
Then I had an idea.
Why not celebrate a virtual cache with a virtual resident geocoin. It is quite a tricky task to do this justice, but fortunately my elder son is skilled at this sort of thing, so I commissioned him. A few weeks later (delayed by slightly more important matters like A-level exams) he delivered exactly what I was after.
All you have to do is find where the coin is hidden.
Guidance:
- Do not leave home, and particularly do not go looking in any caves; this is a T1 (or lower) exercise.
- A rival witch to the one in the main tale may point the way, metaphorically speaking.
- The path is not especially tricky (perhaps D3-ish).
