Current Goal

Flat Stanley is taking a long vacation around the great state of Wisconsin. If you spot Stanley in a cache, please read the first two pages in his passport, located in a ziploc baggie attached to his back, which serves as his backpack. The goal is to get Stanley to visit many different parts of the state by June 1, 2004. He's a huge Green Bay Packer fan, so at least make Lambeau Field one of his stops.

About This Item

This travel bug is part of a year-long class project by Mike Seavert's 6th grade students at Whitnall Middle School in Greenfield, Wisconsin. The students are learning how to use a GPS system and what geocaching is all about. We are trying to get Stanley to visit all around Wisconsin by June 1, 2004. We need geocachers from around the state to help with the success of this project. If you participate in our project, please follow the guidelines in his passport and move him along to another cache ASAP.

Suggestions for places to take Stanley's picture at are: Lambeau Field in Green Bay, State Capital in Madison, Old World Wisconsin, Octagon House in Watertown, along the Mississippi River, Door County, EAA Museum in Oshkosh, Jelly Belly Warehouse near Kenosha, Indian Reservations, roadside attractions, etc. The possibilities are endless!

This travel bug originated from a cache that was placed in a park near our school. The name of the cache is Flat Stanley Cheese State Wisconsin Tour found in zip code 53220.

We also have another Flat Stanley traveling around the United States. Click here to view his travel bug page.

It's good to see Stanley come home after it was thought he went missing from a muggled cache. Too bad the Packer game today was a stink bomb, but at least Stanley was in good company at the Green & Gold Cache N Bash. His TB tag will be retired. Thanks to all who helped move him along and sent pictures of him to me and my students.

Snatched Flat Stan, we didn't want him to miss the Packer game while freezing in an ammo box. We're going to take him to the neighborhood Packer game party spot, then we'll move him along ASAP.

  • Flat Stan And Mike Holgrem It looks like Flat Stan is enjoying the game more than Mike Holgrem. It's going to get worse Mike...
