About This Item

9mm and some of it's friends

This TB is being replaced with a .40 shell casing, and re-posted using the COPY tag as of 7/2010.

A original was a 9mm from an afternoon playing with my other friends: 357, 45, and the lady of the group, 38 special.

The .40 S&W (10x22mm Smith & Wesson) is a rimless pistol cartridge developed jointly by major American firearms manufacturers; Winchester along with Smith & Wesson. The .40 S&W was developed from the ground up as a law enforcement cartridge designed to duplicate performance of the FBI's reduced velocity 10mm cartridge which could be retrofitted into medium-frame (9mm size) automatic handguns .......... It is currently a favorite of the FBI and other law enforcement agencies using the Glock 22 & 23.

I think I may have an "aiming" point for dropping this one off; I just have to find a nearby cache.

Although it didn't make it all the way to Wisconsin this cache seemed like a nice place to have it continue it's journeys.
