To spread awareness about Obstetric Brachial Plexus Injuries. (OBPI) Doesn't matter where it travels as long as it travels and brings awareness to others.
Since this travel bug is blue, I have designated it as an awareness bug for Obstetric Brachial Plexus Injuries. (OBPI) There are several kinds that range from minor to complete paralysis of the arm. My granddaughter was born with Erb's Palsy which will limit her arm movement for the rest of her life. She has undergone therapy since 6 weeks old and two botox treatments and one nerve transfer. More surgeries may be in her future. This is a preventable injury and I want others to know about it before they give birth so they can talk to their doctors in advance to prevent it. Thank you for helping our TB on it's mission
