To travel the world in search of unique caches that go above and beyond in terms of difficulty. Try to drop/dip the trackable in caches you know make people swing into "High Gear." Please keep it moving so that everyone gets to experience these awesome caches and wonderful feelings.
Do not drop or dip this trackable in caches that have neither a difficulty or terrain that is 3 or above. If you don't intend to vistit challenging PHYSICAL caches, leave the TB for someone that does.
www.thefreedictionary.com defines the idom "High Gear" as "A state of maximum activity, energy, or force." For example, "The student's mind was in high gear as he studied for his test." Most of the time this state of mind comes out of nowhere. Sometimes it may seem like someone is finding all the wrong answers to a problem, and then it clicks. Their brain starts to think of all the many solutions to finally solve the challenges they face.
I have experieced this a lot with geocaching, especially with puzzle caches. I have tried to avoid those particular hides just because it takes me a while to reach high gear. But, when I do everything starts to come together. Other types of caches that usually swing me into high gear are gadget caches and ones that require a TOTT. There are just so many different caches that bring people from "I'm getting nowhere with this" to "Ok, now I see" really quick. High gear is one of the most thrilling and satisfying experiences that geocachers come in contact with
The trackable is a small plastic gear with a blue TB tag connected to it. Please do your best to keep it moving, try not to keep it for more than two weeks unless you're planning a big trip that will add a lot of miles. Also, please help this trackable stear clear of virtual caches, unless they're super hard to get to. The trackable should fit in most cache sizes besides micros of course. Please do your best to keep it clean and looking spiffy. Thanks to anyone who chooses to help "High Gear" on it's open ended journey.

Couldn't be happier with the amazing journey of this trackable! Thank you all so much! So far it has been to almost ten states in the US, has been dropped in nine caches, and has visited a TON of caches with high terrain and difficulty ratings. Keep up the great work!

Ah I like the goal of this TB! Interesting that I found the Squaw Mtn cache today that the previous logger of this TB couldn't find. I will take this TB back to Massachusetts this weekend with me and then place it in an appropriate cache.

Dropping in a Terrain 3.5 cache. I wanted to drop this on top of a mountain, but this bug has languished with me for a long time and my mountain effort today failed (DNF). Since this is 3+ terrain cache, hopefully another adventurer will pick it up for its next adventure.

Tried to drop and failed. After a hike to the top of this mountain, I couldn't find the cache and had to give up because of an approaching storm. Sorry High Gear but such is the risk of being a 3.0 Terrain travel bug. Will attach a photo on the mountain soon.

Dipping in downtown Denver. About to hit the road for a hike that will hopefully be a good drop off site.
