    Well I got him out of there, I suspect he was dying from thirst!!
    I will make sure he enjoys his stay with me for a few days and will put him in a cache soon to move him on.

    Made a quick visit to the Owhango Hotel.

    The "it's good for you..." brand doesn't feature highly here (as far as I know), being supplanted by the "it's the measure of a man's thirst" brand instead. 🙂

    After the photo op at the hotel, it was off down to the Whakapapa River to be placed in another cache.

    Uplifted from Piriaka Lookout for a short hop towards the south. [Also cleaned up some more of the rubbish around the lookout while there. Why do people stop at a lookout, then throw their rubbish on the ground?]

    Since I found him in "A Fine View" (which is indeed true) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=540cae76-df56-463f-866f-1dd2dee3489c it seemed appropriate to leave him in a place with another fine view - this spot has a wonderful vista across to the central volcanic mountain ranges of North Island, New Zealand.

    Of course I forgot the camera this time and after that climb I wasn't about to go back and get it - so can't post pics 😟😟😟 - so sorry about that

    TB came on a maintenance trip to Pickering Airport caches today but wanted to check out a few local watering holes before parting company. Molowop http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=46450 was intrigued by what it was that was good for you and need to communicate that back to home base so they spent some time together.
