    What a day for geocaching!

I retrieved this nice GREEN Jeep from the WGA Geo-Picnic. What an adventure that day ended up being. Besides visiting with many cachers (new and old friends), I walked over 20,000 steps during the day (I think it was 20,824)! That is over ten miles on the trails in one day!! How much easier if I had a mini version of this Green Jeep to get through the trails to the cache locations.

We (ecorangers and myself) found 40 caches at the picnic and then found another 14 caches afterwards. The hike was up and down the dirt trails, dodging wasps (though five managed to sting me at one time), drinking plenty of water, and meeting and greeting fellow cachers on the trail.

I didn't get a picture of the acquisition of this bug nor the day, but it was a full, fun, and rewarding day. Green is my favorite color so I was very happy to add this to my collection of found travel bugs.

I will release soon in an interesting and challenging location to bring others out to a challenge of a cache.
