Well, the Fishing Eager Beaver has had quite a winter. You see, we picked him up from Blue Heron last October on our last geocache of the season. It was a beautiful day, and the friendly Beaver just begged us to take him along home. The Beav knew that some of the Johnnyquesters were avid fly fishermen and fisherwomen, so it seemed like a natural fit.
Now comes the plot twist. Upon returning home, a very diminutive Johnnyquester took quite a liking to Mr. Beaver, and promptly hid him away where nobody else could find him or take him away. This particular Johnnyquester then promptly forgot where he hid the Eager Beaver.
Last week, during spring cleaning, Mr Fishing Eager Beaver emerged from winter hibernation under a flowerpot. Cleaned, refreshed, relaxed, and exuding the renewed sense of purpose that comes from spending a prolonged period holed up in a dark prison, The Beav was transported to the Rocky Narrows Cache, where he now sits, looking out at the Charles River, and dreaming of the time when he can go fishing once again.
