In meinem früheren Leben hiess ich "Nothing is sharper". Mein Owner hat mich jedoch in "British Steel" umbenannt. Das ist der Name eines der bekanntesten Alben der britischen Heavy Metal Band Judas Priest aus dem Jahre 1980. Auf der Scheibe finden sich Hits wie «Metal Gods», «Breaking the law», «Grinder» und «Living after midnight». Berühmt geworden ist auch das Cover: eine Hand vor einem schwarzen Hintergrund, die eine Rasierklinge hält. Judas Priest haben nicht nur die New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) geprägt, sondern auch das ganze Genre des Heavy Metal – allen voran Frontmann Rob Halford, der Nietenpapst.

In my former life I was called "Nothing is sharper". However, my owner renamed me "British Steel". This is the name of one of the most famous albums of the British heavy metal band Judas Priest from 1980. On the disc you can find hits like "Metal Gods", "Breaking the law", "Grinder" and "Living after midnight". The cover has also become famous: a hand against a black background holding a razor blade. Judas Priest have shaped not only the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM), but also the whole genre of heavy metal - especially frontman Rob Halford, the riveting pope.
