I picked this up on my trip to Hawaii, and added a bit of lava I found near the current erupting vent on the Big Island, Pu'u 'O'o. It was quite a hike making it to this geocache, and well worth it!

The pouch already has a wonderful assortment of shells, seeds and an interesting green translucent stone. I've been looking forward to getting to Internet access (I had none while in Hawaii) to see what other adventures this pouch had to get such a wonderful set of treasure. But I guess all of this was donated generously from the original owner, since it looks like I was the first to find it.

Now I'm back in boring, flat Illinois. I'll need to think hard about where I might be able to drop the pouch off so that it will continue to collect more treasures. Perhaps some day it will find itself back in Hawaii!
