To reach the State of Colorado and to STAY THERE. Visiting every beautiful mountain, hiking trail, ski run, rushing river, deep gorge and snowy pass along the way! Don't forget to take many many photos as you bring this with you. Only one important request...Please do NOT place this in a geocache. You can however "visit" as many geocaches as you'd like!
We request that this travel bug only be passed (hand to hand) from geocacher to geocacher. Use the option "grab from current holder" to log this trackable. This is an attempt to keep our travel bugs in safe hands and from vanishing into thin air. Events are acceptable!
In 2016 both of my children experienced Colorado for the first time. In July it was just Spencer and I for GeoWoodstock14er then Sydney, Spencer and I in September for a family vacation. They absolutely loved seeing the mountains. I've been making an annual pilgrimage to hike the 14ers for the past 7yrs now and every time I'm blown away by the shear beauty of the Colorado landscape. This item was picked up with the intentions of making it into a travel bug. So here it is!
In 13 years Spencer will be able to track this down and put it to use!
