Current Goal

This TB would just love to get to the USA. The tag attatched is an olde world Coca cola ad in metal, fridge magnet size. If it gets to the States, maybe it could then get taken to one of my favourite places, Vancouver, then travel Banff, Jasper, Hope and Victoria Island. After that, the world's it's oyster.

About This Item

This reminds me of the juke box days when any self respecting teenager would rather stay at home than be without a bottle of coke in the coffee bar.  It was the days of jive and hand jive, Elvis, Buddy, Jerry Lee Lewis, then the tear jerkers, Brenda Lee, Dusty Springfield and the Righteous Brothers.  Back combed hair styles, stiletto heels, wolf whistles, men opened doors for ladies, and walked on the outside of the pavement, Men drank beer and women had a sherry or a gin- and- it. Your parents expected to know who you were with and where you were going, IF you were lucky, you could stay out until 10-30pm. not a minute more. Ahhh! Was life simple and organised or what?
