This Green Jeep Travel Bug was released in Michigan on August 1, 2006. It was intended to travel well, visiting many caches and cachers alike. Unfortunately, it, like most of the four-years worth of Jeeps, did not last long in the wild and disappeared out of sight.
Until now.
The physical green Jeep Rescue Concept vehicle is still missing out on the trails, forgotten in a child's toy box, or selfishly hoarded as stolen pillage within someone's collection. However, thanks to meandmydogs and her Jeep resurrecting project, the Jeep's ghost now lives on as the travel code is put back into action.
May the spirit of Jeep live on and travel well, even if now in a different form!

Use the Golden Rule when you find a Travel Bug. Most owners would rather see their Travel Bug do a lot of travelling, so try not to hold on to a Travel Bug for too long. If you plan on holding onto the bug for more than 2 weeks, make sure to send a courtesy email to the owner letting them know.
