A Bear Named Sleepy

2017-06-02: Thanks Y2K' for getting me to Oregon!

We took this bear on our 2016 family reunion trip to Alaska. We sent out nine bears, one for each kid at the reunion.  This bear's name is Sleepy and she belongs to Eleanor who was 2.5 years old at the time of the reunion.

We made guesses about which of the nine bears would complete the following milestones by August 1, 2017:

• The first bear to be picked up: Sophia
  • Second and third bears to be picked up: Chimichanga and Misty
  • Fourth bear to be picked up: Buddy
  • Fifth and sixth bears to be picked up: King Salmon and Sleepy
  • Seventh bear to be picked up: Chocolate Berry
  • Eighth bear to be picked up: Lincoln
  • One poor little bear has yet to be picked up: Fish
• Travel the farthest distance: Misty (8346 miles)
• Travel the shortest distance: Fish (2157 miles)
• Visit the most caches: King Salmon (167 caches)
• Visit the least caches: Fish (2 caches)
• Get lost first: Fish (2016-07-25... never picked up)
• Reach 1,000 miles first: Sophia
• Reach 5,000 miles first: Chimichanga and Misty
• Reach 10,000 miles first: No one yet!
• Visit Canada first: Chocolate Berry
• Visit a country outside North America first: No one yet!
• Be photographed first: Sleepy
• Visit the most states/countries: Misty (6- Utah, Alaska, Georgia, Alabama, California, Arizona)

• Visit the most caches: King Salmon (317 caches)... runner up is Chocolate Berry (309 caches)
• Visit the least caches, excluding lost trackables: Buddy (11 caches)... runner up is Sleepy (77 caches)
• Pass 15,000 miles: King Salmon (18,293), Misty (16,773), and Chocolate Berry (16,539)
• Visit a country outside North America: Chocolate Berry (2017 France), Buddy (2018 Costa Rica), and King Salmon (2018 Austria, 2019 Czechia, and 2019 Germany)
