Bigfoot, AKA Sasquatch, is said to inhabit forests mainly in the Pacific Northwest. In American folklore, Bigfoot is usually described as large, hairy, bipedal humanoid, roughly 7-10 feet tall with a footprint 17 inches long. There ae several organizations dedicated to the research and investigation of Bigfoot sightings in the United States. Bigfoot got its name in 1958 when a worker named Jerry Crew at a construction company found large 16-inch human-like footprints. The story was picked up by the Humbolt Times of Eureka California. They used the name "Bigfoot" in the newspaper article. This was the first time the name was used and eventually stuck, replacing the name "Sasquatch".
To leave large footprints in lots and lots of caches.
