This Turtle Trackable along with the Cat Trackable were placed the day I proposed to my fiance in the cache I made for us named Tracks & Trails. I wrote this poem in the beginning of the log book.
Tracks & Trails
I used to walk my trail alone,
but that was long ago,
back before I found my home,
when I wandered to and fro.
As I went I found a path,
That intersected mine,
So I chose to go that way,
To see what I would find.
I didnt know what to expect,
I didnt see a sign.
I just saw a pretty girl,
Who was also smart and kind.
We began to walk side by side,
And we merged our trails together.
We laughed, we cried, we joyed, we sighed,
Through sun and nasty weather.
We continued on this way,
Our love became more strong.
I loved you even more the day,
Another came along.
His hair like shining gold,
With eyes of crystal blue.
His coming was unfortold,
He's half me, and he's half you.
Now our trails have led us here,
I chose this little spot.
I always want to keep you near,
I love you both alot.
There's somthing that I want to ask.
Im so glad your in my life.
Lets turn our two trails into one track,
Emily, will you be my wife?
