If you pick up a geocoin or travel bug, realize that someone has spent money, time, and effort to share a little geocaching fun with you. Please do the honorable thing and safeguard it from being lost at an event, at home, or in the bottom of a caching bag.
Please put it in a cache (any cache, even the one in which you found it) within a reasonable time. (Within two weeks, if possible.)
This is a replacement for my World Travel geocoin, which is missing.
This consists of a photocopy of the coin's image, along with a metal washer glued inside a coin capsule to give it a nice weight and feel. I regret that it is a poor representation of the brilliant colors and craftsmanship of the original.
I especially like the icon for this coin - the shoes move around the globe, which spins!
The furthest I've been away from home was when I had the good fortune to be stationed in Germany while I was in the Army. From there I visited England, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and the Canary Islands.
Please share some of your travels.
I still hope the original shows up some day, perhaps with tales of grand adventures.
