I'm not as dedicated as some cachers are so it took me a while to reach this milestone, so it took me four years before I finally reached 1000 finds.
I reached this milestone by finding GC15621 The Cache of Cthulhu by mscrep. I'm not a great puzzle solver so I needed help solving this one. Much thanks goes to the C/O for putting up with me. Once I finally had the solution, I decided to wait to get it just for this occasion.
Honestly, I had never heard of Cthulhu (pronounced kathuloo) before this cache. Now I see references to him quite often and it makes me think of this cache or the C/O.
I didn't receive this coin until 1 1/2 years later, but I saw it for sale at the event Twixt Spring and decided to get it. It might be another few years before I get to 2000, but that's OK!
