RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY ON 2/20/22 AFTER BEING RETRIEVED OVER 19 MONTHS AGO, BUT WITH NO ACTIVITY SINCE THEN, AND, AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS, WE WERE UNABLE TO GET THE GEOCACHER THAT RETRIEVED IT TO PLACE IT IN ANOTHER CACHE. IT HAD TRAVELED OVER 68,230 MILES BEFORE IT STOPPED MOVING NEAR EL CAJON, CALIFORNIA!!
Pete the Pirate is black and silver. He is a very determined pirate, ready to sail across Oceans to meet new people all around the world. His favorite color is black!!.
Pete was initially set free by Sam Swanson in Redwood City, CA, who wants to see him sail all over the world and plunder each unsuspecting geocache he encounters.
He is made of aluminum, measures just under 35mm, so he should fit in any small container and he comes with a chain for attaching your favorite traveler.
Just remember, no one should steal Pete or a curse will befall them.
