Current Goal

This bug has two missions:

1) This bug wants to help you start or complete a State Quarters map. Take any quarters you need. If you don't need any quarters, please contribute some. Although I cannot control your actions, I would appreciate if you kept about $1-$2 of quarters in the bug at all times. I have $2.75 in there to start out with. These quarters are not to buy you coffee after your geocaching trip!

2) Most of the state quarters will now be minted in the western mints. It would be good if the bug moved out that way to bring older quarters out there, and new ones back east! If a large move like that isn't possible, just do what you can to move the bug around. The more people that get it, the more quarters can be moved around!

Additional Mission: Once this bug has been dropped by sciencefun, please try to help it make its way to Crawfordsville, Indiana, and into some of sciencefun's caches. Thank you!

This was a great idea for a TB. When we got home from our trip, we were able to use several of the quarters for our collection. We replaced with other state quarters for others to trade.

Hi--- I am going to take this travelbug all the way to San Francisco. That is almost as far west as it can go :) I will make a pit stop in Denver, and will try to take its picture by the Denver Mint, and maybe add something to the bug there. Once I drop it off in California, I would like the owners permission to say that as it races back east, I would like it to stop at one of my geocaches in Crawfordsville Indiana as sort of a competition. I will place it between June 5-8
