While going through the old photos on my phone, I came across another forgotten Travel Bug from GeoWoodstock XXI in West Virginia that somehow never made it into my discovery logs.
This time it's Fur's Mobile DJ Booth Travel Bug.
I spotted this one while wandering through the cachemobile parking lots, checking out all the Travel Bugs on vehicles. That's always one of my favorite parts of any Mega event—you never know what you'll find on the back of someone's car. I always tell myself I'll log them as soon as I get home... and, well, here we are a couple of years later! 😄
I noticed this Travel Bug has logged an incredible 148,303.7 miles. Now that's some serious road time! It has definitely seen more of the country than most people ever will.
Reading the Travel Bug page also made me smile because we actually stepped foot in New Jersey on our way to GeoWoodstock XXI. It wasn't a long visit, but it was long enough to grab the state souvenir and add another state to our geocaching map before continuing the road trip.
Thanks for sharing Fur's Mobile DJ Booth Travel Bug and making it available for discovery. I'm glad I finally made it back through my old photos to get this one logged.
Originally photographed in the cachemobile parking area during GeoWoodstock XXI in West Virginia.
Finally discovered by CachingRednecks in 2026.
"Some folks collect miles... geocachers collect miles, memories, and a whole lot of smileys along the way!" 🚗🪙🤠
Big Texas howdy and happy caching!
