About This Item

General background:

In the summer of 2022 I have had the great fortune to be invited to a guided round trip in a country dearest to my heart: Scotland. Never had I thought to be able to stand on Scottish ground and for me a dream had become true to see and experience as much of this adorable country as possible. Very soon on the trip I utterly lost my heart to the landscapes, towns and the locals.

Furthermore I was lucky enough to receive several TB-tags from my local reviewers… Immediately the idea kicked in that they all have to travel to the home of my heart. As it is unlikely that I am able to visit the beloved Scotland again, the tags have to relive the journey for me. Each tag does this in parts as there is:

The John O'Groats tag:

A heart as item… Well, we couldn't follow the schedule and visit the Castle of Mey, because His Majesty King Charles III, (and at the time of the journey) formerly known as HRH Prince Charles, resided there for holiday. (Therefore I can't provide a picture myself, I need YOU to take one for me.) Instead we rescheduled and visited Duncansby Head. This was the place I fell head over heels in love with. I wanted to sit down, look at the stacks for the rest of my life and was in peace with no less than everything.
