The Amazing Race between friendly cachers—ChristaPista, JTinker, EHatch and Nanax697. Each of us will release a trackable attached to a car on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. The goal is to travel far and fast for 1 year with the official race ending on April 16, 2018. No mailing or virtual visits. After that we hope to see these cars travel for many years logging as many new places as possible.
Points will be awarded during the race as follows:
1 point for each cache visited or dropped.
2 points for each state visited; 5 points for countries other than the US.
3 points for each event attended; 5 points for mega or giga events
5 points for each photo taken of the trackable
These points will be totaled on April 16, 2018 and added to the total number of miles traveled for the final total. The winner will receive dinner bought by the other three.
Ehatch's car is a 1965 Shelby Cobra convertible. JTinker is racing with an Aston Martin and ChristaPista's a hot pink muscle car. Nanax697 is chasing us all with a NYPD Police car.
