~~Grabbing this cache was easy but the Challenge was hard work.
I Joined geocaching on the 12th April after a irlap1966 told me about it.
It's great fun. I love walking. I even managed to get kerryloubee out the house a few times doing it and wt.
I decided middle of July I was going to before a premium member and it was amazing how many more caches became available. I liked the CM and had already started collecting them when I saw the challenge. It was a must cache to have. I started planning, Printing information off, calculating points looking where they were. One rainy Saturday with wt driving I went and found 7 multi CM in prep for the Challenge. Driving back from Mansfield every Thursday I would stop off and work out some more multi's.
Knowing that CM day was coming up I decided this would be the perfect day to start.
I got up Friday morning went to work as VAT deadline filing was the 7th November also I worked until 9pm getting my last 2 filed. Met the husband wt down at tesco them stopped off to work out another multi on the way home.
I had decided I set off at midnight on Church Micro Day to start my challenge do an hour come home and go to bed and the carry on in the morning. I left the house midnight and went straight for VR Bolover cache.
When I got to Apperknowle, I worked out the clues and ran to 200/300 hundred yards back to the cache. Well at least it was a fair evening it wasn't raining and the temperature was ok.
I reached Woodhouse parked the car and set off to retrieve the 4 here' It's now about 2am I have never be so happy to get back to mini.
more to follow....
I got34 CM's within that I got a FTF, 1 joint FTF and a STF and ending the day at 15:00 (due to a family party a I 100 miles away) on just less than 215,000 points. Late start sunday up by 8 and out by 8:30. I ended today with 258,287 and a total of 41 CM's for the weekend. Challenge completed SL and replace as found.
Will update abit more late
Thank you for the Challenge. :D
