Current Goal

I want to travel and see interesting things. I left northwest Arkansas with my owners (Rich and Faith) for a Hawaiian vacation in October 2005. This has been my dream - to visit my paradise (Hawaii) and learn the mischievious ways of the Menehunes and even become one of them. Then, travel more to see all the wonders of the world. Although I do look like an Ozark hillbilly from Arkansas, I'm sure I can become a true Menehune.

Well this FTF is # 200 for me and very special.
Thanks Rich for bringing this one by the meeting today.

Hope you got everything down for the Record of Service.

I know this little (kahune*) Menehune will stir the imaginations
if nothing else.
*Originally, Kahuna was the Hawaiian title for a shaman, and the term is still used in that context by some native Hawaiians. (see ancient Hawai'i) One of the Kahunas of the then king of Hawai'i (Alapa'i) predicted that a fiery light in the sky would signal the birth of the "killer of chiefs", or ali'i ie: Kamehameha I, the first king of all the Hawaiian Islands.

Menehune:
In Polynesian mythology, the Menehune are similar to elves or fairies. They are trickster beings, though usually merely mischievous and not cruel. The chiefs of the Menehune are called Alii Menehune.

This mischievious travel bug 😉 has been waiting since November 14, 2003, to get started on his Hawaiian adventure. He is booked to leave for 5 Hawaiian Islands on October 3, 2005. He already has his bags packed and anxious to find an initial Hawaiian cache and wait for you to find him. Who will it be? 🙂
