Kitty Cat Huraira Travel Tag

Huraira’s mission is to travel to Montclair, Virginia, which is in the United States.  Montclair is a town pretty close to Washington, DC.  It’s where our Gramma and Grandpa live.  Gramma and Grandpa are very nice and they were both very nice to Huraira, especially Gramma.  She is an artist and she painted lots of pictures of Huraira.

    After Huraira visits Montclair, VA it might be nice for her to visit Ashburn, Virginia, which is where our cousins Maegen and Sydney live.  Ashburn is sort of close to Montclair.

    Then we would like Huraira just to keep on traveling to lots of amazing places and have a great adventure in the big, wide world out there.

This Trackable is in memory of our dear cat Huraira, who passed away in April 2015.

    We had Huraira for three years.  We got her in 2012, when she was one year old, from a family who couldn’t take care of her anymore.  They had named her Huraira, which is a Muslim baby girl name meaning ‘red start’, or ‘reddish’.  It also is someone who likes travel and adventure.

    Huraira was a shy and independent cat who loved having adventures.  She had adventures outdoors and in our house.  She also loved to find lots of different places in our house to sleep.  She slept in the guitar case, in a backpack, in the recycling box and countless other places besides.

    In 2013, we got another cat named Lemondrop.  He was (and still is), a very playful cat.  He loved playing with Huraira and thought of her as his special friend.  Huraira thought of him as a bit of a nuisance.  He loved to ambush her when what she really wanted was some peace and quiet.

    In 2014, Sylvie, our little baby girl, was born.  She loved Huraira and Lemondrop and called them ‘ditties’, which is her word for kitty.

    We all loved Huraira.  She was a very pretty cat and a shy, independent, yet loving, soul.
