MISSION: TO VISIT VOLCANOES AND CRATERS AROUND THE WORLD. PLEASE POST PHOTOS!
Waldo and I were at Crater Lake recently. There was a smoky haze that gave the lake an eerie, ethereal quality; if we hadn't been choking on the smoke from the forest fire that was burning deeper in the park, it would have been easy to imagine the smoke was steam rising from the volcanic cone pushing up from the bottom of the lake inside the larger crater. I'd never been there before, so it was all very cool, beautiful and interesting to me in spite of the smoke. I found this keychain in the gift shop and thought, "That would make a great travel bug!" So here it is; please keep it moving from volcano to volcano and cache to cache, taking and posting photos along the way.
