Current Goal

This bug started out in the desert but I love fly fishing. it's mission is to travel to fly fishing destinations, specifically in the West. It would like to visit Yellowstone and the rivers there and Green River and wind up in Northwest Colorado where my owner's brothers live. On the way I would like to have people take a couple of flies and deposit a couple flies. Pictures of the flies and the areas visited would be welcome as well as a list of the flies left and why you like them. If you don't have flies just move me towards a better or new fishing hole. This combines my favorite hobby (fly fishing) with my newest hobby (geo-caching).

With sadness I must report "Traveling Fly Swap" went missing. The last log for a cache on the Rogue River was muggled and a note was left mocking our hobby. I intend to start another with the same theme in the near future.

I thought about putting this out somewhere else, but from this peak, you can see so many little ponds and streams as well as the Carson river. Fly fishing is not just a pastime here, it is a way of life for many. Good luck and enjoy the view.
Cache on,
