The Blue Mill to travel from the Netherlands to New Zealand to meet up with my niece Eve07 in Mornington Dunding in New Zealand..

This TB is his present for her birthday on the 23st june 2017.

See if we can get this TB from cache to cache within a year so he has it for her next birthday in 2018.

De Blauwe Molen van Nederland naar Nieuw Zeeland reizen om mijn nicht Eve07te ontmoeten in Mornington Dunding in New Zealand.

Deze TB is een kado voor haar verjaardag op 23 juni.

Kijken of we deze TB  binnen 1 jaar van cache naar cache kunnen krijgen zodat hij het voor haar volgende verjaardag in 2018 krijgt.

Aub deze TB niet in een Multi of Mystery caches doen.

Eve07 houd veel van Holland met zijn molens dus stuur ik dit klein aandenken van de Blauwe Molen naar haar. De roots van Eve07 liggen in Rijpwetering, Nederland waar haar ouders vandaan komen en in 1952 geëmigreerd zijn naar Nieuw Zeeland

Onze neef Cees Warmerdam heeft enkele jaren, met zijn vrouw, in de Blauwe Molen te Rijpwetering gewoond.

Eve07 likes Holland with his mills so I send this little souvenir to her. The roots of Eve07 are in Rijpwetering, The Netherlands where her parents came from and in 1952 were migrated to New Zealand.

Our cousin Cees Warmerdam lived for several years with his wife in the Blue Mill in Rijpwetering.

De Blauwe Molen is een grondzeiler nabij Rijpwetering in de Nederlandse gemeente Kaag en Braassem. De molen is in 1904 aangekocht ten behoeve van de bemaling van de Blauwe Polder en ter vervanging van een bouwvallige wipmolen. Vermoedelijk gaat het om een molen uit Hillegersberg die uit 1772 stamt en die enkele jaren eerder buiten bedrijf was gesteld. Tot 1960 bemaalde de Blauwe Molen de polder. In 1968 werd de molen aangekocht door Stichting Het Zuid-Hollands Landschap, die hem in 1971 maalvaardig liet restaureren. De Rijnlandse Molenstichting beheert de molen voor het Zuid-Hollands Landschap.

De Blauwe Molen is maalvaardig in circuit, sinds de afdamming van de Achterwatering. Naast de molen bevindt zich een overtoom, de laatste in zijn soort in Zuid-Holland en, evenals de molen, een Rijksmonument. De molen wordt bewoond en is niet te bezoeken.

The Blue Mill is a ground sailor near Rijpwetering in the Dutch municipality of Kaag and Braassem. The mill was purchased in 1904 for the purpose of painting the Blue Polder and replacing a robust wiper mill. It is probably a Hillegersberg mill that dates back to 1772 and was taken out of business a couple of years earlier. Until 1960 the Blue Mill measured the polder. In 1968, the mill was purchased by the Dutch Landscape Foundation, which was able to restore it in 1971. The Rijnlandse Molenstichting manages the mill for the southern Dutch landscape.

The Blue Mill has been gradual in circuit since the demise of the backwater. Next to the mill there is an overtoom, the last of its kind in South Holland and, like the mill, a national monument. The mill is inhabited and can not be visited.
