Had to take this and bring it to work to see if anybody can identify what this is. To me it looks like part to some kind of pump or a G scale Train Locomotive. If this is from extraterrestrial origins, I may have the cache to place it in.

Well, we asked at work -- mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, metalworkers, software engineers, quality-assurance engineers -- no one knew what it was, although there was a lot of speculation. But when we went to drop it off at the Henry's Hill cache today, we may have discovered what its true calling is:

 • it's a Borg probe! The "mistery object" sitting on top of the Borg Cube at Henry's Hill, trying to assimilate all those who pass by.

Resistance is futile.

Who can resist a mystery?

We will take this into work next week and ask the engineers in the machine shop if they can identify it.

Wie zich kan tegen een geheim verzetten?

Wij zullen dit in het werk volgende week nemen en zullen de ingenieurs in de machinewerkplaats vragen of kunnen zij het identificeren.
