Teil der Coinsammlung der Kanustation Mirow / poseptun
The personal geocoin of Team Petey, a geocaching family from Superior, Wisconsin.
The Twin Ports of Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin, are located at the western part of Lake Superior (the westernmost of North America's Great Lakes) and together are considered the largest freshwater port in the world. They are twin cities and seaports, connected to the Atlantic Ocean through the Great Lakes and the Saint Lawrence Seaway.
This coin was designed after Duluth, Minnesota's Aerial Lift Bridge. This Bridge lifts to allow an excursion boat to pass through the canal to the inner harbor on its return from a cruise out on the big lake. The bridge is an equal opportunity worker, raising as promptly for a 25 foot pleasure sailboat as it does for a huge commercial 1000 foot Laker. One side of the coin shows the opened bridge, the other side shows the closed bridge.

Als jetzt schon älterer Coin bin ich immer begeistert neue Coins und Icons. Es gibt da noch so vieles zu entdecken und poseptun war so lieb mir seine Schätze zu zeigen.

Moin,
ich bekenne mich schuldig. Ich bin ein Geocoinjunkie. Ich erfreue mich wie ein kleines Kind an den Icons auf meiner SammelHabenSeite. Leider findet man in den Geocaches immer seltener einen Travelbug oder eine Geocoin. Um so mehr freue ich mich dann wenn ich von einem Sammler das Angebot bekomme das ich seine Leidenschaft teile und seine Sammlung discovern darf. Hier ist es wieder solch ein Angebot und ich staune nicht schlecht was der geschätzte Poseptun doch alles für schöne Stücke in seiner Sammlung hat.
Danke das ich mit dieser Sammlung meine Iconliste vervollständigen kann.
