FTF #6146. Well, yay!! 2nd (FTF) tonight, even in the dark of night. Glad our over-packing for the last cache proved useful here. Meaning, the hardest part was crossing the highway in my dark blue sweatshirt dodging traffic in both directions. At least the geovan had flashers on, but that probably made it look more like something suspicious… oh well. Been there done that. Penned FTF about 5:20 with 10PinkTARDIS. TFTC, these two make 131 consecutive months of finding FTFs.

FTF #6145. Well definitely a group effort here. Agate is up in the north metro for work and solved for coords. So he pinged mickey since the monthly streak is still on the line. Geodaughter, 10PinkTARDIS and mickey headed out to find the little bugger. Thanks for the hint, we definitely over packed. In the end it took longer to get back into place than it took to retrieve. Ink to paper by 5:03 pm. All the same… Glad to have extended the (FTF) streak another month to 131!!

FTF #6144. Greetings from Minnesota! Hola!! I am on a business trip this week in PR (Ponce, Villalba, Juncos). I needed an FTF for October so I did a pre-check mid last week of unfound caches and spotted this one. I quickly solved the puzzle and put it on my list for arrival today. I had an easy drive to here and made a very quick find thanks to excellent coordinates. This would be a tough GZ without good coords!! This one extends our monthly streak to 130!! 🎉

Visited 9/17/2025 agate mickey took it to Ghost Squirrels Minnesota - 51.5 miles  Visit Log

FTF #6143. I saw the notification for this cache while working at our headquarters just south of here. We still needed an FTF for September, I had time in my schedule, and since the cache was only about 10 miles away, I decided to make a run for it.

I posted a note to see if anyone would want to meet. Mn-treker's responded to my note and we actually arrived at the same time.

I actually spotted all five of the white squirrels in the lawn. I was truly amazed! I have seen these before, even two at once, but never five! WOW. Cool!

We made our way to GZ and searched the ghost tree. We found nothing of interest. We expanded our search to other trees. But still nothing. Then Mn-treker spotted something very interesting on the ground. Yup, the cache. Very cool container!

I have this one a favorite point for the container and the squirrels! We re-hid the cache in a logical location. Nice to get the FTF today at about 2:30 pm. This one extends our monthly streak to 129!!

FTF #6142. Yay! More Wherigos published this afternoon. This time we were able to head out to one closer to our home and get the blank log. FTF at 7:00 pm. Muggles were in the park when we wanted to return the cache. We used as much stealth as possible. Hopefully they paid no attention to us and/or don’t care what we were doing.

FTF #6141. These new Dakota County Wherigos all published when I was with friends for dinner in St Paul last night. Including one that was literally only 0.15 miles from my house, and another that was only 2 miles away from my house. Of course I had no chance to get those with TC hounds that apparently have no life outside of caching and can drive 20-30 miles for an FTF at a moment’s notice. Lol 😂 (Head shaking in disbelief)

I am reasonably disappointed in not getting an FTF literally in my back yard. Geesh. 🤦‍♂️ Anyway; I spotted three still available this morning; one in Northfield 12 miles south one in Hampton 7 miles southeast and this one in Vermillion 8 miles east. I jumped in the car to head to Hampton and then saw Hoffer15’s FTF log there. I pinged him to see if he’d meet me in Vermillion instead. He agreed.

Now you know the rest of the story. He was there first but agreed to share the FTF. That extends our streak to 128 months. Yay!

FTF #6140. What a nice surprise to have a cache publish within 4 miles of our home, on a Saturday morning when we are home, and not at 4:30 or 5 in the morning when we are getting our beauty sleep. 😴 Lol

Agate looked at Mickey and said “cache 4 miles away, by the movie theater, want to go?”

"Sure! Just got to get dressed."

    Lol

We found a nice shady place to park near GZ and headed over to start our search. Agate is allergic to the nearby beacon so gave a heavy sigh. But thanks to outstanding coords, we found the cache quickly and were pleased to claim the FTF on this very warm Saturday.

Visited 7/13/2025 agate mickey took it to Come walk over me Minnesota - 187.86 miles  Visit Log

FTF #6139. Yay!! FTF shared with trbills and geodaughter 10PinkTARDIS at 11:06 am. Agate here. I spotted this publish as we went to bed last night. Considering some of the difficulties here, it was probably good I didn’t follow my first instinct to get dressed and head out (since it was only 1 mile from my house). I probably would have struggled last night. Plus I had to be up at 5:30 am to get Mickey to the airport and then I was off to church for drumming at the next two services.

This was my first chance to give it a look and it was fun to come here with fellow church member and caching friend trbills as well as geodaughter XPT. Nice to find the blank log.

FTF #6138. Yay!!! FTF at 1:55 pm with geodaughter 10PinkTARDIS. Mickey and XPT spotted the goods at the same time while agate was making it way more difficult. Lol

XPT kept the FTF prize. We left a polished rock and a pathtag.
