Now then Mr Smiley, this is a very long trip you've been taking, and I'm sure Kanon has all but forgotten about you by now, but never fear, geocachers won't forget!
I picked you up in Bramley this evening, and we can set off on some nice Harley Davidson rides over the next few days or so 🙂
Great story on the travel bug - keep on trucking Mr Smiley!

Lone Ranger2, you have the correct tracking number for our travel bug and the last record we showed for it was in the Big Bear Lake area of California. We appreciate your efforts to straighten this out. It's still great to have him back in circulation after all this time. Don't know how someone in Ireland could possibly come up with the correct tracking number. Guess this is one for the "officials" to de-bug. Gary and Bernie

Would the real Mr. Smiley, please stand up! Am not sure what's afoot here, but l was recently given what I think is "Mr. Smiley", but seems there may be identity theft in the works ? or at least some confusion. I was visiting friends in southern California, and was contacted by someone we'll call Mr.Tardy. When over-hearing that I was a geo-cacher, Mr.Tardy gave me what appears to be "Travel Bug" number: affixed to a yellow "Mr.Smiley's foot via a silver split-ring. Mr.Tardy explained that he had found "Mr.Smiley" several years ago somewhere in the Big Bear Lake area of southern California, but cannot recall precisely where. He further explained that after initially finding TB he was involved in changing residences, thus TB was temorarily lost in packing/relocating. Mr.Tardy no longer geocaches, and asked me to place in a cache. But after looking this TB up, it appears to be currently circulating and being logged as another "Mr.Smiley" with a reference number of TB18CF. I'll try to attach photo of the "Mr.Smiley" I currently possess here in northern California.
