Catskill Mountain House Geocaching Road Trip 2015 Tag

This trackable was purchased to symbolize the earning of my Fun With Favorites souvenir earned at GC6D08 called "will you marry me?." The cache is very sweet and I love the idea of it and what it represents. This trackable means even more to me than that though because that place has been important to me for much longer than I have been caching. The site of the Catskill Mountain House is important to my grandfather and in turn me with many a visit and many a memory there. Not to mention, the spot and view is absolutely gorgeous with much historical significance to boot. I treasure it and every moment spent there. So, this is also a symbol of that place and those memories. I want everyone to be able to experience those little moments no matter what place is most important to them. I have atatched a homemade keychain of a capybara to the tag because it is my favorite animal so it had a buddy to travel with.

I have had too many close calls where my discover only TBs were almost taken which causes me to not want them to leave my sight anymore. My discovery only ones normally have some sort of sentimental value and do have a twin in the wild meant to share and travel so I hope you can understand my concerns. This one in particular is special because it represents more than the souvenir I earned, but the importance of that location and my grandfather. This one does have a twin in the wild meant to travel as well.
