About This Item

The red maple leaf shape is for Canada, of course, with the Peace Tower in silhouette as a distinctive Ottawa icon. The trillium and the Fleur des lys represent Ontario and Quebec, two provinces that meet across the Ottawa River.

From urban micros to day-long hikes in Gatineau Park, the National Capital Commission's Green Belt lands to the urban parks, Ottawa and Gatineau have geocaches for everyone! Come and see for yourself!

    I left your GeoCoin by a Canal
    near the beutifull Markham Park,
    in Fort Lauderdale,
    right at the edge of the EverGlades.
    This park boasts plenty of picnic areas,
    a lake for water skies, a dog playing area,
    a swimming pool, a radio controlled plane field,
    a shooting range and a camping ground,
    not to mention about a dozen caches.
    It's really worth a visit.

    On or around December 15th, I passed on the Bluelamb's Canada's Capital Cachers Geocoin #5 to Blackjack65. I knew he was going south (Florida) and I thought that it would be a nice area for this CCC Geocoin to land for the winter.
