I have a "fish" themed bathroom and though tempting to keep this cute little guy, I thought I'd take this little guy to the Caribbean with us next week and try to find him a new home somewhere there. Seems he should be closer to the ocean and not in our desert???

Figured the old guy might want to be in a more conspicuous place where he could hitch a ride in less than 10 months this time. He was a gentleman crustacean if ever I've met one.

This Old Crab spent the previous fall, winter and spring gazing from the overlook into the Agua Fria river canyon south of Cordes Junction, Arizona. It was a bit desolate, but starkly beautiful there after the Sunset Fire of summer 2005, but after nearly 10 months of much crabby meditation, he's on the move again. Wonder how he managed to train that attack bee that nailed me on the end of the nose at I approached the Old Crab's meditation rock?

The little guy was longing to move to a wetter clime. "This 'Beat the Heat' has my pinchers in a bind," he said dryly. Well, I took his plea to heart and made sure he was nice and cool. On to the next cache.
