This TB is in a race with a numer of other trackables from Japan to Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA, where the TB needs to find it's way to the cache "Let Them Fly: A TB Hotel" (GC5WF4E).
Amaterasu, as any one in Japan probably knows, is the Shinto sun Goddess and believed to be foremother of the Japanese Imperial family. In the past we have had trackables with other solar themed names, so this seemed to fit as this TB hopes to arrive in Japan.
The Knights of the Golden Horseshoe Expedition took place in 1716, when the Royal Governor of Virginia led an expedition across the Blue Ridge Mountains. This was the first visit of Virginians to the Harrisonburg region. Hopefully our TB will complete a long expedition to Harrisonburg, Virginia.
We were given this trackable on our recent visit to Geocaching HQ in Seattle. It is a red and white Headquarters travel bug.
