After completing my epic journey from the Pacific Northwest to the Atlantic ocean its time to travel the world! I'd like to circumnavigate the globe and return to "Patty's 50th Birthday Cache" near Belgrade Maine.

The waters off North Carolina's barrier islands entomb thousands of vessels and countless mariners who lost a desperate struggle against the forces of war, piracy and nature. Known as the Graveyard of the Atlantic this area has one of the highest densities of shipwrecks in the world.

Help this little light return to Topsail Island to symbolically remember those who struggled against the mighty Atlantic ocean.

    Took Topsail with us on a hike up Burnt Meadow Mt. Then to a ridge where the cache is located. Didn't want to leave it seeing we are only the second to do it since put out in July. Quite a hike in a remote location.

    • There's Topsail
    • J and Topsail Nearby but can't see the little guy. Had to be hazy today.

    The Topsail Island Light has been at home for quite awhile now, but seems out of place in a stationary position. It's time for it to travel! This time lets send it around the world. What better place to start and finish such an epic adventure than my sister's 50th birthday cache. Via con dios little light!
