Lars has been in semi-lockdown with us for a while, which obviously is a period with relatively little geocaching. Today, on the lat day of the year, we decided to go for a quick walk in the Eindhoven neighborhood in the Netherlands (our hometown), visiting a few unlogged caches and taking Lars along.
The 'Always Remember September - Hell's Highway'-geocache seemed to be a nice place to say goodbye to Lars. The geocache, commemorating the second world war and the soldiers traveling through Eindhoven to the front at the bridges in Arnhem and Nijmegen (search for operation Market Garden, if you're interested to learn more about the history), is quite large with plenty of space to contain a few TBs. And, although it's a frequently visited cache, it's not on the side of the road, meaning that I would not expect a lot of unexpecting muggles to come across the box. Wishing you good travels from here onwards (towards Norway, if reasonably possible, although that might be difficult in these times). Goodbye!
