Danale Friendship Tag - Race - West

 

My geocaching buddy, mumofgeorge, and myself have let loose our 2 Friendship Tags in our first joint multi (Honest Toun GC79Y7A) in our home town of Musselburgh, East Lothian, Scotland, UK.

We would like to see if they can travel round the world in different directions and make their way back to Musselburgh one day, visiting lots of caches on their way.

Sadly this one went missing at the first cache it was placed in.  We now have a proxy to send out and hope this one lasts a little longer.  It still has a long way to go to catch up on mumofgeorge’s friendship tag which was moved on from the same cache this one went missing from.

My trackable would like to go west. Mumofgeorge’s trackable would like to go east.

They started their journey on Monday 16th March 2020. Please move us along as quickly as you can.

I'm the CO for this seasonal TB Hotel. Finally checking the activity after all the cruise ships have left Juneau, Alaska. This tag was in the cache. I'll grab it. I head south in February 2024 for SoCal and Baja or maybe another Juneau cacher will grab it first.

BTW...I am a Thomson and of Scottish ancestry. Alas, I have yet to visit Scotland. I also grew up in a suburb of Washington DC called Bannockburn. The interesting twist about Bannockburn was that it was primarily populated with Jews! A great place to grow up.
