Oh Tannenbaum: Came down for the event here in the park and got here early for some caching. Nice easy find. Dropped a bug.

4:10 to 10th or Pine: I came out to this nearby restaurant for a Girl Scout event and got here early so I looked to see if there were any caches nearby. YES! Made the short walk to GZ. The log was damp but I managed to sign it PL.

The Christmas season has begun at the Merriest Place on Earth and while I generally like to wait until Advent to start getting in the mood. I’m quite happy.

Leaping Lizards-It’s a Soar Point: I’ve been working on this one for awhile. This is actually my third time attempting this one. Previously, I wrote the answers down on a piece of paper. Then, when it was time to log the cache I could not find the paper. So, I had to go back and get the answers again. Silly me also wrote the answers down on a piece of paper the second time. And subsequently lost them again. Today I was back in point Loma grabbing some specialty cashes and decided to go back out to this one and put the answers on my phone instead. It was such a beautiful day I enjoyed coming out here. Thank you for the excuse.

Reverse Whereigo: After a GS event on Pt Loma, my coleader and I went for this cache. At the final, I ran into a Muggle and did my best to be discrete. Thanks for the fun.

My co leader and I were going to a Girl Scout event in Pt Loma and I talked her into doing a couple of caches. We lucked out with a great parking spot and made the short walk on this beautiful day down to GZ. In addition to getting the necessary information, we saw birds, sailboats, and happy families. Thanks for placing this Earthcache.

Desert Reflections: Out with my dad on a road trip today along Old Hwy 80. This was our destination. The admission price has doubled BTW. Beautiful view of the desert and the Salton Sea today and if you look across the 8, you can see an abandoned stretch of the 80.

aBooK: Noticed there was a cache here when we drove by this morning but the library wasn’t open yet. We were planning to come back to Frosty Burger for lunch so decided to go for it on our return. After lunch, we came down to an empty library-save for two librarians. We struck up a conversation after I was in the right place and they enjoyed having us there. I started too low and it was on the last shelf I looked at. Definitely gets a favorite point from me. I love library caches.
